i quit my job in the beginning of 2010 so that i could move abroad. so i left new york and chose berlin because i loved the city more & more with each visit. this is a chronicle of my experience getting there and, hopefully, getting by there. on tuesday i became a permanent resident of the bundesrepublik deutschland, having received my unrestricted, unlimited visa.
two years ago i would only talk about leaving new york.
i’m excited to see how this pans out.
